Reading the numbers: Sensitivity and screen size change this more than skill does. A high-DPI setting on a small window shortens travel and flatters your average, so only compare runs on the same setup. How the aim trainer works

Thirty targets, one at a time. Click one and the next appears somewhere else — the run ends when the last target is popped. You're scored on total time, youraverage time per target, and accuracy, since every click that misses is counted.

Averaging under 600ms per target is solid and under 450ms is fast, but accuracy is what separates good aim from fast flailing. Find a mouse sensitivity you can control, aim with your arm for the big movements and your wrist for fine corrections. Your best total time is saved locally.

Does my screen size change my score?

More than most people expect. A larger window spreads the targets further apart, so your cursor covers more distance per target and your average time rises even though your aim has not changed. Sensitivity does the same thing in reverse. Only compare runs taken on the same screen at the same settings.

How is this different from the hand-eye coordination test?

The aim trainer is a fixed 30-target sprint scored on total time, so it rewards consistent speed. The hand-eye test is a fixed 30-second round scored on how many targets you hit. Same skill, different scoring.

How do I improve my aim?

Find a mouse sensitivity you can control precisely and stick with it. Aim with your arm for large movements and your wrist for small corrections, and prioritise landing the first click over moving fast.

Does this help with FPS games?

It trains the same core skill — moving a cursor to a target quickly and accurately. It won't replicate tracking a moving enemy or recoil control, but flick accuracy and target acquisition transfer directly.
