How short a flash can people recognise?
The exposure shortens after every correct answer and lengthens after a mistake, which converges on the briefest flash you can still read reliably.

Reading the numbers: Your display sets a hard floor on this test. A 60 Hz screen holds each frame for about 16.7 ms, so it cannot show anything shorter, and a 144 Hz screen bottoms out near 6.9 ms. Results are only comparable on the same monitor at the same refresh rate.

How does the test work?

What is a good result?
